Talent For Writing Certificate

At the end of last week, Ben came home with a certificate and a letter to say that a poem he wrote at school has been chosen for a ‘Talent for Writing’ award which means that his poem will be published. Well done, Ben! We have to fill in an official form for copyright as well, so its all very professional. We will definitely have to buy the book when it is out. The poem he wrote was only 3 lines and was a haiku, but it is actually quite emotional and feels like it should have been written by someone much older. Kelly and I are very proud. 😉
