Children In Need 2014
For Children In Need this year, Ben had to go to school dressed in a sports outfit. Β During the day, they did some sports activities for Children In Need and got sponsored to do so. Here is Ben before he went to School.

At the beginning of October Ben celebrated his 6th birthday!
This year we decided to split things up a bit as his birthday was on a Wednesday and there was a lot of people to see and a birthday party to have!
The Saturday before his birthday, Gramps and Nanny Helen came up and took us out to the pub for dinner. Ben loves going to the pub (tut!) so he really enjoyed this and scoffed all of his food and chocolate brownie for afters!
The following Wednesday was his actual birthday so I left work early and picked him up from School. When we got home, he was very excited to open his presents and cards, so we cracked on with that! He wanted Indian takeaway for tea, so we had a bit of a scoff of that when it arrived! Ben had some lovely presents, including a Spider Man game for his Innotab, clothes, money, Star Wars pinball, Lego Batman board game, Bingo game, chocolate, Hulk costume, various Superhero Lego sets and many more things. He was very pleased with all of it! Kelly also made him a Captain America shield cake, which he thought was great.
On the Friday was his party, and this year we had a disco in the Roborough village hall with Kaptain Krazy as the DJ. He was great and the disco itself was brilliant! About 25 of his class mates came, each with a present for him, and all had a very good time! The disco lasted 2 hours and Kaptain Krazy had the children engaged the entire time by playing games and giving out prizes (sweets that he brought himself). Even some of the parents had to take part! π I had to go up and sit down at the front whilst everyone sang the ‘Frozen’ song to me and I had to then decide if the boys were the best or the girls! (I chose the girls!) It was great fun. We would recommend Kaptain Krazy for any children’s party.
Here is the party invitation that Kelly and Ben made.
The following day (Saturday), Nan Nan, Pops, Aunty Alex, Uncle Josh, Caleb and Uncle Mike came up to visit and to give Ben his presents, and on the Sunday we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Tony’s house for a pasty for dinner. Uncle Darren and Aunty Marina came as well.
By the end of the weekend, we were all tired out, but Ben had a great 6th birthday, so thanks to everyone we saw and who gave him presents! π
Here is a funny video of Ben sleeping in the car from July 2013. He is asleep but is desperately trying to keep his head up straight! π
Ben decided to make Gramps a birthday card this year, and here is what he made. π
Here is a picture of The Avengers that Ben made and cut out all on his own. I especially like Iron Man! π Can you name them all?
