Just thought I would put an update on here about what Ben has been up to recently, and how much he is growing! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
Ben now has 9 teeth in all, with 1 being one of the big ones at the back. We had a few bad nights where he wasn’t sleeping properly, and we think it was becuase of his big tooth coming through. Kelly felt around in his mouth and she said that she could feel all the big ones just under the surface of his gums, so hopefully they won’t be too long.\u00a0 We just need them all out…preferably at once!<\/p>\n
He has started jumping now as well, and does it all the time!\u00a0 He can’t get too far off the ground at the moment but he is getting higher and higher.<\/p>\n
His talking has got a lot better in that he doesn’t shut up now! He is always yabbering away to himself, even when he is in his cot and bedtime.\u00a0 The number of times we have put him to bed only to come down and listen to him talking to himself or singing (!) to himself over the intercom! He is getting very good at copying what you say to him, with the longest words being aeroplane and pikachu (a Pokemon)…hahahaha!<\/p>\n
He has also learnt the\u00a0 tunes and actions to several lullabies like ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ and other songs such as ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes,’ ‘Row Row Row Your Boat’ and ‘Ring A Ring Of Roses.’\u00a0 He also likes anyone doing ‘This little piggy…’ to his toes! He is also obsessed with the Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce and Alexandra Burke. He always stops when their songs come on the TV.<\/p>\n
Finally, he loves computers and the Wii. Every day he has to sit on the chair and pretend he is working on the computer. He will sit there for ages tapping away at the keyboard and when he does something wrong, like opening a window by accident, he knows to press the Escape key to see if it will close the window.\u00a0 Very clever indeed!\u00a0 He also loves pretending to play on the Wii, especially if the balance board is out.\u00a0 He will hold the controller and the Nunchuk correctly and stand on the board pretending to play Wii Fit. He is going to be a computer and games genius when he is older!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
